My friend Brandon Haynie took these pictures when I was about 33 weeks. I love them! I think he is super talented and it was fun to work with him too. I was unsure about taking maternity pictures and now am so glad I did. I will treasure these forever.
I had a doctors appointment and ultrasound today to check on this big boys size. The ultrasound tech measured the head and chest a few times, took an average, and then Jeffrey asked her to measure one more time. The doctor thinks he weighs right around 8 pounds! I am only 37 weeks so that puts him in the 95th percentile in size. My doctor said that when a baby is this big it poses a dilemma of when to deliver. I have an appointment next Wednesday and if I have not gone into labor on my own by then, we will schedule an induction for sometime the next week. SO, I will have my little guy in my arms in the next 2 weeks!! We are beyond excited and can't believe it is time.
We are moving on Monday.
I know we are SO crazy.
Say a small prayer that we can get moved in, somewhat settled, and THEN he will come! Say big prayers for a safe delivery and healthy boy. We could also use some help from above with choosing a name...
We LOVE you sweet boy and can't wait to meet you!!!
I am also excited to finally set up your nursery!!!
